Elevate’s client and Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for a temporary attorney to support to the Company Law Group.  The Company Law Group’s responsibilities include providing corporate governance support to the Company and material operating entity subsidiaries in the U.S.

Specifically you will:

  • Support the board meeting process for the Company and its two national banks.
  • Draft forms of minutes of meetings of the boards, board-level committee and senior management-level committees.
  • Assist with preparation of other corporate governance materials and corporate secretarial management (such as secretary certificates, internal and regulatory data requests, and officer appointments and removals).  

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of attorney experience, corporate governance desired.
  • Level of experience and maturity to be able to exercise sound judgment, work independently and effectively manage a wide variety of responsibilities.  
  • Some financial services and banking experience will be a plus but is not required.

  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a client-centric, deadline driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and superior reading comprehension.
  • Rapid turnaround in a fast-paced environment is a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross functional organizations.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. required.
