Contract Administrator

As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with in-house legal and finance teams to provide various types of contracts related support. You will be responsible for providing contract administration and managing contract workflow.

Specifically, you will:

  • Provide substantive transactional support to facilitate creation, and workflow management of contracts
  • Review incoming contract requests, and coordinate with the contracting parties to enable negotiations, approvals, and signatures
  • Escalate unresolved issues to designated contact points and stakeholders
  • Upload agreements into a contract management system and prepare reports 
  • Ensure appropriate tracking of contracts
  • Use summary data and other information from signed agreements to improve playbooks, tools, and templates

Experience:

  • 2+ years of contracts administration, contracts management, commercial/business paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department

Skills for Success:

  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate ideas
  • Proven ability to work in a client-centric, deadline driven environment
  • Highly detail oriented, with analytical skills and a proficient contract acumen
  • Experience working within a framework of service level agreements and key performance indicators
  • Excellent organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience with a variety of contract types

Technical Skills:

  • Experienced in Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (preferred but not required: previous experience with SharePoint as a document management tool)
  • Experienced in contract management software (preferred but not required: previous experience with Novatus

Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. from accredited university
