The legal industry is changing and Elevate’s team are already some of the most respected leaders in the sector as we continue to deliver cutting edge products and services in support of our clients. Elevate’s client and major law firm is currently looking for a Process Improvement Specialist.

As a Legal Process Improvement Specialist in Elevate’s Legal Business Solutions group, you will work for strategic client engagements for FTSE100 law departments and UK top 50 law firms.  You will autonomously work with clients on process improvement exercises working with practice areas to identify and deliver process improvement opportunities. As such you will have an industry recognised process improvement qualification and strong stakeholder management skills ideally formed within legal services or a comparable sector. You will be client facing from day 1, working with industry leading clients to directly impact ROI. 

As part of a young and growing business, you will have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of Legal Business Solutions and move quickly within the organization.

Specifically you will be:

  • Delivering legal process improvement strategies to FTSE100 corporate law departments and UK top 50 law firms.
  • Using your analytic skills to identify strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Implementing solutions to improve department and firm operations and improve ROI.
  • Extending a clients’ organization to provide subject matter expertise.
  • Supporting sales, product development, and helping to define Elevate’s Legal Business Solutions strategy.
  • Initially, helping develop potential ‘size of prize’ through relocating work through alternative sourcing.
  • Subsequently, supporting detailed future state process design.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years in a strategic process improvement role.
  • Prior consulting experience with a major consulting firm a plus.
  • Law department or law firm experience a plus.
  • Product development or implementation experience a plus.
  • Strong communicator, personable and collaborative
  • Must have working knowledge of core legal practice areas within a law firm.
  • Process mapping experience.
  • Business case development experience.
  • Could be a paralegal, trained lawyer or someone from consulting background with experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Immediate start.

 

Skills for Success:

  • 5+ years in a strategic process improvement role.
  • Prior consulting experience with a major consulting firm a plus.
  • Law department or law firm experience a plus.
  • Product development or implementation experience a plus.
  • Strong communicator, personable and collaborative.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Exceptional Excel and Microsoft Office skills including common process mapping technologies.
  • Experience with leading business intelligence, billing and reporting tools a plus.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
