Commercial Attorney - Healthcare

On behalf of a Global Healthcare Technology Company we are looking for an Attorney on an interim basis to support the In-House Counsel offering first class legal advice and support for a U.S entity. 

Specifically you will:

  • Perform a full legal audit for a newly-acquired entity to fully assess areas of legal risk.
  • Completely overhaul contracting arrangements and templates. 
  • Set up processes. 
  • Review contracting arrangements.
  • Create templates and a commercial playbook.
  • Assess data protection, bribery, corruption and any other legal issues relative to a health care technology company.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant in-house or law firm experience covering commercial and healthcare law.
  • Experience working in life sciences or health and tech companies would be highly sought after for supporting this client effectively. 
  • A commercial mindset and strong understanding of how to apply legal services to provide value in a fast-moving business environment.
  • Independence and judgement; in particular, knowing when to escalate and make hard decisions. 
  • Ability to demonstrate strong legal skills, together with business acumen and a customer-focused approach.
  • Analytical ability, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a high level of competency around negotiation and persuasive communication.


  • Juris Doctor Degree; licensed and in good standing with a US state bar.
