Elevate’s client is a Global Semiconductor Company who is in need of an IP Paralegal whose primary responsibility will be docketing correspondence to and from outside counsel related to US and international applications. This position will report to the Sr. IP Paralegal and work with internal and external IP counsel..

Specifically you will:

  • Accurately docket and enter other IP data into docketing management system and assist with data cleanup as needed.
  • Interact with internal IP counsel regarding global docket.
  • Interact with external US counsel on filings and formalities, prosecution, foreign filing.
  • Draft routine correspondence.
  • As required, assist with departmental overflow work, special projects, filing.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a docketing position in a private law firm or corporate legal department required.
  • Understanding of patent processes and knowledge of country law rules in the US and international jurisdictions.
  • Intermediate to Advanced level expertise in Microsoft Office, Internet and similar technologies including docketing management systems and USPTO (PAIR) system.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and paralegal certificate preferred.
