The Legal Reporting Manager will support the Director of Strategic Analytics and Reporting in a variety of global initiatives. As a Legal Reporting Manager, you will be expected to be detail oriented and draw on relevant prior experiences to deliver reporting support, data driven spend analysis and implement analytical solutions leveraging business intelligence platforms including Qlik, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the team’s overall strategy and growth by implementing best practice processes, managing team members and supporting innovative customer initiatives.  Your success in this role may lead to other opportunities within Legal Business Solutions.

Specifically you will:

  • Review legal spend, billing and financial data maintained by law departments and law firms
  • Gather requirements and deliver recurring and ad hoc customer reports
  • Manage the preparation and review of legal spend assessments, including the development and presentation of opportunities and recommendations to customers
  • Promote best practice reporting solutions and review both quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies
  • Design and develop dashboards and reports within Elevate’s business intelligence applications to identify additional opportunities to deliver new legal solutions to customers
  • Support customers by delivering data structuring, cleansing and classification projects


  • 7-10 years of relevant accounting, finance, spend analysis experience
  • Legal, accounting or professional services industry experience
  • Strong project management experience

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytics experience
  • Implementation, development and delivery experience using Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and other industry leading business intelligence tools
  • Exceptionally strong expertise using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn new software products; if necessary
  • Data science experience a plus


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • MBA, MS Accounting, CPA a plus
  • Big 4 public accounting experience a plus
