As an Assistant Manager at Elevate, you will ensure sound delivery of technical services to our client's internal teams based out of Gurgaon or remotely on client sites or from home. You will provide a mixture of preventative support, project delivery and integration activity around Cisco networks to a Windows Server environment, Citrix XenApp, VMWare and more. You will be looked upon as a subject matter expert and will be expected to advise fellow team members on making reliable technical decisions around supporting and deploying a complex environment that runs business critical systems.

Specifically you will:

  • Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements
  • Be responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of network devices, storage, virtualization environment, servers and productivity tools
  • Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
  • Work within strict time frames and escalate incidents within defined time frames
  • Test all changes to networks and hardware
  • Infrastructure coordination related to design and setup activities at different stages of a project
  • Work with various vendors and service providers to ensure a productive environment
  • Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports
  • Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
  • Interact and coordinate with users, vendors and suppliers


  • 6+ years of experience in a related role requiring confidentiality, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting and working independently to successfully assist customers in their utilization of systems and network hardware/software
  • Working in an IT support environment in a senior role
  • Hands on experience Windows Active Directory, Firewall, Router and Switch
  • Experience working with IT requirements of a global firm
  • Working knowledge of ITIL incident management and co-ordination including service transition process
  • Working knowledge of ISO 27000 controls
  • Experience working directly with a US or UK client

  • In depth understanding of co-location along with Cisco network equipment and Foritnet next generation
  • Excellent problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Be organized and clearly document changes, problems, investigations and communication
  • Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks and deliver high quality work product in a fast moving IT environment
  • Thrive as a team player in a dynamic, fast moving development environment
  • Can successfully multi-task and prioritize activities to meet client expectations

  • Operational capability with Cisco network devices (Nexus and Catalyst) and Fortinet Next Generation Firewalls
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and SQL Server
  • Knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices


  • BE / BTech Computer Science or equivalent
  • M.E./M.Tech./M.S degree in Computer Science and Electronics or related field from a Tier II institute
