Through our Elevated Lawyers Solution, we are able to offer our clients the right legal expert in the right location with exactly the right skill set. As we continue to expand the offering we are now looking for a Legal Counsel to work in-house at our client, a Global Telecoms company.

As In-House Counsel your role involves working closely with the client to create and review a variety of legal documents specifically focused on Data Protection Regulation.

  • Have experience providing legal research, writing support and using on-line research tools.
  • Have experience dealing with Data Protection contracts, documentation and agreements.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Compliance and Data Protection issues facing corporations.
  • Are a creative and process orientated thinker who is able to solve problems.
  • Are passionate about delivering excellent quality and service.
  • Are a proven leader and motivator of people.
  • Like the sound of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.


Specifically you will be:

  • Reviewing and analyzing documents relating to all aspects of data privacy requirements under applicable General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
  • Implementing the company’s GDPR compliance programme.
  • Establishing and implementing the company’s Data Protection & ethics policies, processes, training and supporting materials.
  • Advising senior teams, data controllers and data processors in relation to privacy requirements.



  • Previous experience in a law firm or financial institution.
  • 3+ years PQE, with data protection experience and/or expert knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Experience of working with a large multi-site services organisation with Legal, IT, Business and other functions.
  • Practical understanding of data security techniques.
  • Ability to implement complex solutions which have a significant beneficial impact.

Technical Skills:

  • Experienced in Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.



  • Law degree from a reputable university.
