Help us shape the future. As a Legal Bill Review Manager at Elevate you will work directly with our clients to extend and enable their in-house legal bill review teams. You will work towards helping our clients better monitor and manage legal spend through more robust and innovative bill
review practices.

You will manage a team to deliver on established service level agreements.  You will create an operational framework to deliver on service line expectations.

Using a combination of legal and business acumen, you will help maximize our client’s potential for cost savings while maintaining the health of their most trusted and valued relationships with their outside counsel.

Specifically you will be:

  • Manage the daily operations of the 24 x 5 service centre
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client representative(s) and participate in governance model
  • Correspond with outside providers, where approved to do so, to resolve bill inquiries and disputes
  • Participate in legal bill review process and tool continuous improvement efforts
  • Identify and monitor all KPIs and SLAs for the service line
  • Define and document workflow processes, SOPs, metrics, and policies
  • Serve as the point of escalation for issue resolution and queries
  • Drive efforts for data collection, analysis and reporting required to manage the operation
  • Manage employee lifecycle. (Including hiring, performance reviews, development, corrective
    actions, etc.)
  • Manage staffing model ensure alignment with utilization requirements
  • Actively mentor the assigned team to achieve set performance targets.
  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the client's technical environment and service requirements
  • Should be involved in creating/managing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities for the operations
  • Delegate effectively and create a succession planning for all the roles within the team

Experience:

  • 3+ years relevant legal bill review management experience preferred
  • Exposure to electronic billing systems (i.e. Collaborati, AIMS, Serengeti, etc) and familiarity with
    legal billing

  • Electronic billing systems knowledge (i.e. Collaborati, AIMS, Serengeti, etc) and familiarity with
    legal billing

Technical Skills:                                                                                                                                                      

  • Strong base of analytical experience and willingness to learn new techniques
  • Experience using major eBilling software vendors, including Mitratech, CT Tymetrix, Datacert, Bridgeway, and others
  • Comfortable with learning new software products, if necessary
